Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is the premium midrange device of Samsung. They released A53 along with this series. But there are some major differences between these devices, which are the screen size, camera quality, and the most important thing is the chipset. A73 uses snapdragon and the A53 uses Exynos.

Performance.

A73 has a snapdragon 778G chipset which is good for gaming, multitasking, and mobile photography. 120 HZ Display gives a smooth scrolling experience. Also, the stereo speakers gives a massive experience when you watch videos on the mobile. It has a small heating issue when you keep playing games. But it won’t affect the performance.

Display.

Super AMOLED plus with the 120 Hz Display gives the best experience when you watch videos. It gives superb picture Quality using vivid colors. 120 Hz display gives a smooth scrolling experience but you can select either 120 or 60 Hz. There is no option to keep the refresh rate within that range.

Camera.

They have upgraded the camera to 108 MPs which gives massively detailed photos. 12 Mp camera gives stunning ultrawide photos. When it comes to video recording, the phone is capable of recording 4K videos. Also, it has OIS for stabilization. When we comparing to the A72 this phone doesn’t have a telephoto lens. So we can zoom it up to 10X. This is the only downgrade I see in the A73.

Gaming.

Gaming performance was overall good when it’s comparing to the A72. With the Snapdragon 778G chip, It doesn’t lag at all and it gives a smooth gameplay experience. You can control the gaming performance using the game launcher.

Battery.

Nowadays everyone needs long-lasting battery life and fast charging. This phone has 25W fast charging and 5000 mAh battery life. You have to charge the phone twice a day if you are a normal user. But if you are into gaming then 85% charge will last for 5 hours. Don’t forget to on the protect battery option in device care to protect your battery.

These are the main performance of the A73 5G device. If you are a A72 user it’s a good move to update to the new galaxy A73.
